Couples seeking a hidden retreat
So we recently checked in for a night in a Superior Suite, fine really. The staff were not just polite, they felt genuinely invested in making sure we had a great time, even offering us a drink before our room was ready.
The price tag was a bit steep, but given the experience, it felt justified.

The hotel's elegant decor, especially the cozy lounge with roaring fires, felt like a warm embrace. It was tranquil and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a long day. Accessibility was decent, though some paths could be clearer for older guests.
Improved signage for easier navigation for seniors.

the rooms have a very nice feel and are super comfy. staff were really friendly n helped us with everything. grounds are lovely with nice areas to walk around, perfect for chillin. tv setup was decent too, with a good range of channels and chromecast, tho it took a few tries to get it working sometimes. overall, a great stay that we would definitely repeat!
we had some trouble with the shower not working great and the coffee at breakfast was pretty bitter. would have liked a little more variety in the room amenities.

this place was just amazin! our room was in the mews and very nice. we asked for an upgrade n got a huge suite which was super comfy. the staff were all very friendly n helpful, which made our stay feel extra special. the building itself is really cool and adds to the whole vibe of the stay.
the breakfast was a bit overpriced for what we got, and parking was kinda tight.

Absolutely delighted by the scrumptious fish and chips at the restaurant—a proper Bristol delight! Plus, the room was a stunner with a posh bathroom, making it all the more relaxing. The setting's lush with beautiful gardens to wander around in post-dinner.
But, mate, finding the place was a bit of a faff, and I reckon they could liven up the evening vibes. No breakfast included unless you fork out extra, which seems a tad silly for such a grand place.

Super comfy and relaxing!
Just loved our stay! The room was super cozy and quiet, perfect for some R&R. The staff were friendly and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was just yum – so many options! If I had to nitpick, the parking was a bit tight. Honestly, though, can’t wait to come back here!

The suite I occupied was wonderfully spacious and comfortably furnished, making my work trip enjoyable. Breakfast offered a full English that was impressive, and the evening dining was excellent, complemented by quiet surroundings ideal for relaxation. The staff were extraordinarily accommodating, ensuring every need was met. while the location was convenient for my work, the drive from main transport links was slightly longer than expected.
